What do I get in a membership?
Your annual membership fee covers:
- Registration with Windsurfing Australia (including sail number registration)
- Third-party insurance
- Access to our Team App group
What are race fees?
A race fee covers your entry for that day (6 races) of racing.
Do I need to be a member to race?
No.
Allthough you must hold and be able to show proof of 3rd party public liability insurance.
Do I need sail numbers?
Yes.
Legible sail numbers are compulsory if you want to be scored.

Do I need to be a member of the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron?
No.
You do not need to be a member of the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron (RQYS) to race with Bayside Sailboard Club.
Non-RQYS members can access Davonport beach (our main rigging site) through Davenport Drive, Manly.
A RQYS membership gives you access to on-site facilities including a grass rigging area, fresh water to hose down your gear, showers and secure parking.
